The Morton Potters softball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Richwoods Knights to 2 in the Potters non-league win on Monday.

The Potters now possess a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington for a Mid-Illini battle on Tuesday, April 29. Morton will confront a Panthers team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Dunlap (Dunlap, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 14-2.

With the loss, Richwoods moves to 2-13 on the season. The Knights host Urbana (Urbana, IL) to confront the Tigers in a Big Twelve battle on Thursday, May 1. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 2-12. Urbana lost 15-0 in their recent non-league battle against Monticello (Monticello, IL)
