New York High School Softball - Oneida knocked off by Rome Free Academy

The Rome Free Academy Black Knights overwhelmed the visiting Oneida Express softball squad by a count of 14-2 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Black Knights meet the New Hartford Spartans (New Hartford, NY) in a Section 3 Tri-Valley challenge, on Thursday, May 1. Rome Free Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 13-0 league win over Oneida (Oneida, NY).

The Express (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against New Hartford (New Hartford, NY). The Spartans go into the Section 3 Tri-Valley challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, New Hartford toppled Holland Patent (Holland Patent, NY), 21-0, in a league challenge.
