Ohio High School Softball - Perry succumbs to Waynesfield-Goshen

April 28, 2025: Lima, OH 45806

In Monday's league test, the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers (Waynesfield, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the host Perry Commodores (Lima, OH), by a tally of 15-1.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Ridgedale Rockets (Morral, OH) in a Northwest Central test, on Tuesday, April 29. Waynesfield-Goshen will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Rockets go into the test with a 8-4 record after their 22-2 league win over Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH).

The Commodores (0-11) will now prepare for their test against Elgin (Marion, OH). The Comets go into the Northwest Central test with a 5-10 record. In their last test, Elgin prevailed over Upper Scioto Valley (McGuffey, OH), 8-4, in a league test.
