In Monday's non-league match, the host Pocatello Thunder softball team scored a tight 7-6 win over the Rigby Trojans.

The Thunder (15-4) will now prepare for their match against Century (Pocatello, ID). The Diamondbacks come into the 5A South East Idaho match with a 8-12 record. In their last match, Century was nipped by Hillcrest (Idaho Falls, ID), 13-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Madison Bobcats (Rexburg, ID) in a 6A High Country match, on Tuesday, April 29. Rigby will attempt to better on its 6-13 season record. The Bobcats come into the match with a 7-11 record after their 13-7 league win over Highland (Pocatello, ID).
