Connecticut High School Softball - Ridgefield bounces Stamford

The Ridgefield Tigers softball team scored 18 runs and held the host Stamford Black Knights to 2 in the Tigers league win on Monday.

The Tigers now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Notre Dame Prep for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 30. Ridgefield will confront a Lancers team coming off a 12-0 league loss to Masuk (Monroe, CT). The Lancers record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Stamford falls to 3-2 on the year. The Black knights host Danbury (Danbury, CT) to face the Hatters in a Fairfield County contest on Wednesday, April 30. The Hatters enter the contest with a record of 9-1. Danbury won 11-3 in their recent league contest against Wilton (Wilton, CT)
