New Mexico High School Softball - West Las Vegas bounces Valley

April 28, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87107

The West Las Vegas Dons softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Valley Vikings to 1 in the Dons non-league win on Monday.

The Dons now possess a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Michael's for a 3A District 2 battle on Tuesday, April 29. West Las Vegas will confront a Horsemen team coming off a 13-7 league win over Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM). The Horsemen record now stands at 18-3.

With the loss, Valley moves to 10-13 on the season. The Vikings host Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Knights in a 4A District 6 battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 3-21. Del Norte lost 9-4 in their recent league battle against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM)
