New Jersey High School Baseball - Seneca edges Cherokee

April 28, 2026: Tabernacle, NJ 08088

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Seneca Golden Eagles (Tabernacle, NJ) and the visiting Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ), saw Seneca's baseball team gain a win over Cherokee by a tally of 5-2.

The Golden Eagles (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Moorestown (Moorestown, NJ). The Quakers enter the Olympic - Patriot battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Moorestown held off Bordentown (Bordentown, NJ), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Chiefs face the Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 29. Cherokee will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 13-7 record after their 10-4 non-league loss to Spotswood (Spotswood, NJ).
