The Stagg Chargers baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Holy Trinity Tigers to 1 in the Chargers non-league win on Tuesday.
The Chargers now own a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they host Oak Lawn for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 29. Stagg will play a Spartans team coming off a 14-0 league win over Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 14-8.
With the defeat, Holy Trinity drops to 10-9 on the year. The Tigers host Northtown (Chicago, IL) to play the Pumas in a Chicago Prep test on Wednesday, April 29. The Pumas go into the test with a record of 1-7. Northtown lost 8-4 in their recent league match against Cristo Rey Jesuit (Chicago, IL)
