In Tuesday's non-league test, the Tomahawk Hatchets (Tomahawk, WI) softball squad got by the host Athens Bluejays (Athens, WI), by a tally of 6-5.

Next, the Hatchets clash with the Rhinelander Hodags (Rhinelander, WI) in a Great Northern test, on Thursday, April 30. Tomahawk will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Hodags go into the test with a 7-7 record after their 11-0 league loss to Medford (Medford, WI).

The Bluejays (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Edgar (Edgar, WI). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Edgar held off Newman Catholic (Wausau, WI), 12-2, in a league test.
