Ohio High School Softball - Lynchburg-Clay bounces Peebles

April 28, 2026: Lynchburg, OH 45142

In Tuesday's league match, the host Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs softball team scored a tight 8-2 win over the Peebles Indians.

The Mustangs (10-9) will now prepare for their match against Whiteoak (Mowrystown, OH). The Wildcats come into the Southern Hills Athletic match with a 2-11 record. In their last match, Whiteoak was routed by Fayetteville-Perry (Fayetteville, OH), 7-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Clay Panthers (Portsmouth, OH) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 30. Peebles will attempt to better on its 13-4 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 15-7 record after their 10-0 league win over South Gallia (Crown City, OH).
