Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) followers exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL), 5-2 in a non-league battle.
The Warriors now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Wheaton North for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 1. Waubonsie Valley will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 14-6 league loss to St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 1-1.
In their next game, the Storm clash with the Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 3. South Elgin will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
