Jennings County Panthers (North Vernon, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, IN), 9-1 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Central for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 1. Jennings County will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Rushville (Rushville, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, New Albany falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Southwestern (Hanover, IN) to battle the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 30. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 4-10. Southwestern lost 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN)
