The Harvest Christian Academy Lions baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Alden-Hebron Green Giants to 1 in the Lions league victory on Friday.
The Lions (10-3) will now prepare for their match against Elgin Academy (Elgin, IL). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Elgin Academy was overwhelmed by Latin (Chicago, IL), 15-0, in a league match.
The Green Giants (4-11) will now prepare for their match against Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL). The Hurricanes go into the non-league match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Marian Central Catholic ran past Round Lake (Round Lake, IL), 12-0, in a non-league match.
