Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN), 16-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Blackford upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Bruins travel to South Adams (Berne, IN) to battle the Starfires in a non-league test on Monday, May 2. The Starfires come into the test with a record of 5-7. South Adams won 15-5 in their recent non-league test against Southwood (Wabash, IN)

With the defeat, Tri-Central falls to 0-11 on the season. The Trojans travel to Carroll (Flora, IN) to battle the Cougars in a Hoosier Heartland test on Tuesday, May 3. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 13-0. Carroll won 10-2 in their recent non-league test against Rochester (Rochester, IN)
