In Friday's non-league game, the host Chequamegon Screaming Eagles baseball team scored a tight 19-13 victory over the Newman Fighting Cardinals.
The Screaming Eagles (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Newman (Wausau, WI). The Fighting Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, Newman tipped Auburndale (Auburndale, WI), 6-5, in a league game.
