Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL), 7-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Grant Community upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 30. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 7-7. Crystal Lake Central won 15-2 in their recent league battle against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL)

The Thunder now possess a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they host Johnsburg for a Kishwaukee River battle on Monday, May 2. Woodstock North will play a Skyhawks squad coming off a 13-3 league win over Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Skyhawks record now stands at 7-12.
