In Friday's league game, the host KIPP Pride Pride baseball team scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Weldon Chargers.
The Pride (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC). The Vikings go into the Tar Roanoke 1A game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Northwest Halifax tipped Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC), 6-1, in a league game.
