The North Grand Eagle Owls held off the host Steinmetz College Prep Silver Streaks volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's league test.
The Eagle Owls now have a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roosevelt for a test on Wednesday, May 4. North Grand will confront a Rough Riders team coming off a 2-0 league win over Mather (Chicago, IL). The Rough Riders record now stands at 10-1.
The Silver Streaks (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Prosser (Chicago, IL). The Falcons enter the non-league test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Prosser held off Kelly (Chicago, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
