Buckeye Bucks (Medina, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Normandy Invaders (Parma, OH), 17-2 in a league challenge.
The Bucks now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Midview for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 30.
With the loss, Normandy falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Invaders host Magnificat (Rocky River, OH) to face the Blue Streaks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 30. The Blue Streaks enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
