Tri-Valley Scotties (Dresden, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Philo Electrics (Duncan Falls, OH), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Scotties now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Maysville for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 2.

With the loss, Philo falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Electrics travel to Morgan (McConnelsville, OH) to battle the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 3. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
