The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI) and the host Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI), saw East Greenwich's lacrosse team achieve victory over Middletown by a margin of 11-6.

The Avengers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI). The Hawks come into the State Championship Division battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Bishop Hendricken was overwhelmed by Moses Brown (Providence, RI), 18-4, in a league battle.

In their next game, the Islanders clash with the La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI) in a State Championship Division battle, on Friday, May 6. Middletown will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Rams come into the battle with a 9-1 record after their 12-10 non-league win over Boston College High (Boston, MA).
