The Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI), 16-4 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Portsmouth upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI) to battle the Skippers in a State Championship Division outing on Tuesday, May 3. The Skippers go into the outing with a record of 3-1. North Kingstown lost 12-8 in their recent league outing against Barrington (Barrington, RI)
With the defeat, South Kingstown drops to 0-6 on the season. The Rebels host Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI) to battle the Chargers in a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 4. The Chargers go into the outing with a record of 5-4.
