The Shoreham-Wading River Wildcats lacrosse team scored 16 points and held the visiting Rocky Point Eagles to 6 in the Wildcats league win on Friday.
The Wildcats (10-0) will now prepare for their game against Islip (Islip, NY). The Buccaneers go into the Section 11 II game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Islip prevailed over Eastport-South Manor (Manorville, NY), 13-3, in a league game.
The Eagles (3-8) will now prepare for their game against John Glenn (Elwood, NY). The Knights go into the Section 11 II game with a 3-9 record. In their last game, John Glenn was overwhelmed by West Babylon (West Babylon, NY), 11-10, in a non-league game.
