The Smithtown West lacrosse team scored 11 points and held the host Sayville Golden Flashes to 5 in the non-league win on Friday.

The (10-1) will now prepare for their game against Mount Sinai (Mount Sinai, NY). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 12-0 record. In their last game, Mount Sinai nudged Westhampton Beach (Westhampton Beach, NY), 15-6, in a league game.

The Golden Flashes (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Center Moriches (Center Moriches, NY). The Red Devils go into the Section 11 II game with a 2-9 record. In their last game, Center Moriches was overwhelmed by Greenport-Southold-Mattituck (Greenport, NY), 12-7, in a league game.
