The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Coldwater Cavaliers (Coldwater, OH) and the visiting Ansonia Tigers (Ansonia, OH), saw Coldwater's softball squad nip Ansonia by a count of 4-2.

The Cavaliers now sport a 16-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wapakoneta for a non-league match on Saturday, April 30. Coldwater will face a Redskins squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Elida (Elida, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Ansonia falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Marion Local (Maria Stein, OH) to face the Flyers in a non-league match on Monday, May 2. The Flyers enter the match with a record of 2-5. Marion Local lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Franklin Monroe (Pitsburg, OH)
