Ohio High School Softball - Columbiana Austintown-Fitch

In Friday's non-league contest, the Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Columbiana Clippers (Columbiana, OH), by a margin of 7-1.

With the triumph, Austintown-Fitch moves its record to 16-2 on the year. The Falcons travel to Howland (Warren, OH) to play the Tigers in a All-American contest on Monday, May 2. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 9-5. Howland lost 17-15 in their recent non-league contest against West Branch (Beloit, OH)

In their next game, the Clippers play the East Palestine Bulldogs (East Palestine, OH) in a Eastern Ohio Athletic contest, on Monday, May 2. Columbiana will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 4-9 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Struthers (Struthers, OH).
