Indiana High School Softball - Marshall County bounces Beech Grove

April 29, 2022: Beech Grove, IN 46107

Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) and the host Beech Grove Hornets (Beech Grove, IN), witnessed Marshall County's softball squad prevail over Beech Grove by a count of 13-2.

The Marshals now sport a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to Boyle County for a non-league match on Saturday, April 30. Marshall County will face a Rebels squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to South Warren (Bowling Green, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Beech Grove moves to 8-5 on the season. The Hornets travel to Speedway (Speedway, IN) to face the Sparkplugs in a Indiana Crossroads match on Tuesday, May 3. The Sparkplugs go into the match with a record of 5-9. Speedway won 6-5 in their recent non-league match against Covenant Christian (Indianapolis, IN)
