Windsor Warriors (Windsor, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Berlin Redcoats (Berlin, CT), 16-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Maloney for a Central Connecticut - South challenge on Monday, May 2. Windsor will face a Spartans squad coming off a 17-5 league win over Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Berlin falls to 8-3 on the campaign. The Redcoats host Farmington (Farmington, CT) to face the River Hawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 2. The River Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 0-10.
