South Portland Red Riots (South Portland, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Red Riots now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Falmouth for a Class A South challenge on Monday, May 2. South Portland will face a Navigators squad coming off a 18-3 league loss to Portland (Portland, ME). The Navigators record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Bonny Eagle falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Scots travel to Windham (Windham, ME) to face the Eagles in a Class A South challenge on Monday, May 2. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Windham won 8-0 in their recent league challenge against Westbrook (Westbrook, ME)
