Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Holden Rockets (Holden, LA) and the host Florien Blackcats (Florien, LA), witnessed Holden's softball squad tip Florien by a count of 10-6.
The Rockets now sport a 22-7 record. They play next when they travel to Anacoco for a non-league match on Saturday, April 30. Holden will face a Indians squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Oak Hill (Hineston, LA). The Indians record now stands at 19-8.
With the loss, Florien moves to 21-12 on the season.
