Ohio High School Softball - Green bounces Independence

April 29, 2022: Independence, OH 44131

Green Bulldogs (Uniontown, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 30. Green will face a Hornets squad coming off a 11-10 league win over Aurora (Aurora, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Independence falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Wickliffe (Wickliffe, OH) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 30. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 6-5. Wickliffe won 7-4 in their recent league challenge against Crestwood (Mantua, OH)
