The Immaculate Mustangs softball team (Danbury, CT), was routed 7-4 in Friday's non-league test with the host Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT)

Coming up next, the Nighthawks encounter the Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT) in a Southwest - Patriot test, on Monday, May 2. Newtown will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Bobcats enter the test with a 9-3 record after their 1-0 non-league win over New Canaan (New Canaan, CT).

The Mustangs (6-6) will now prepare for their test against New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT). The Rebels enter the Southwest - Patriot test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, New Fairfield tipped Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT), 15-3, in a league test.
