The Westfield Bombers softball team scored 32 runs and limited the host Northampton Blue Devils to 1 in the Bombers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Westfield moves its record to 8-0 on the year. The Bombers travel to Agawam (Agawam, MA) to play the Brownies in a PVIAC - Valley game on Monday, May 2. The Brownies come into the game with a record of 10-2. Agawam won 14-5 in their recent non-league game against East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA)

In their next game, the Blue Devils play the Minnechaug Regional Falcons (Wilbraham, MA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 30. Northampton will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Falcons come into the game with a 7-2 record after their 18-1 non-league win over Chicopee (Chicopee, MA).
