Maryland High School Softball - Northern bounces Westlake

The Northern Patriots routed the visiting Westlake Wolverines softball squad by a count of 14-0 in Friday's league battle.

The Patriots (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD). The Hurricanes go into the Southern Maryland battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Huntingtown topped North Point (Waldorf, MD), 4-3, in a league battle.

The Wolverines now sport a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Great Mills for a Southern Maryland battle on Monday, May 2. Westlake will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 2-12.
