Northside Christian Warriors (Crowley, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting St. Joseph's - Plaucheville Eagles (Plaucheville, LA), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Claiborne Christian for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 30. Northside Christian will battle a Crusaders squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Grace Christian (Alexandria, LA). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, St. Joseph's - Plaucheville falls to 5-5 on the campaign.
