In Friday's non-league contest, the Park Center Pirates (Brooklyn Park, MN) softball team overwhelmed the host Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks (New Hope, MN), by a margin of 10-0.
With the triumph, Park Center moves its record to 1-9 on the year. The Pirates host Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN) to play the Eagles in a Northwest Suburban contest on Tuesday, May 3. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 0-1.
In their next game, the Hawks play the Richfield Spartans (Richfield, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 30. Robbinsdale Cooper will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record.
