Idaho High School Softball - Rigby gets by Pocatello

Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Rigby Trojans (Rigby, ID) and the host Pocatello Thunder (Pocatello, ID), witnessed Rigby's softball squad tip Pocatello by a count of 7-6.

The Trojans now sport a 11-8 record. They play next when they host Thunder Ridge for a 5A High Country match on Wednesday, May 4. Rigby will meet a Titans squad coming off a 14-5 league win over Idaho Falls (Idaho Falls, ID). The Titans record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, Pocatello moves to 13-5 on the season. The Thunder travel to Preston (Preston, ID) to meet the Indians in a 4A Great Basin - East match on Tuesday, May 3. The Indians go into the match with a record of 4-12. Preston lost 21-9 in their recent non-league match against Blackfoot (Blackfoot, ID)
