The Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA) baseball trounced the visiting Apollo Ridge Vikings (Spring Church, PA), 11-1 in Saturday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Wildcats play the West Shamokin Wolves (Rural Valley, PA) in a Heritage contest, on Tuesday, May 2. Homer-Center will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Wolves enter the contest with a 3-10 record after their 13-1 league loss to Portage (Portage, PA).

The Vikings now sport a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they host Brentwood for a WPIAL 2A 3 contest on Tuesday, May 2. Apollo Ridge will play a Spartans squad coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-9.
