Illinois High School Baseball - Decatur Eisenhower loses to Litchfield

The Litchfield Purple Panthers crushed the host Decatur Eisenhower Panthers baseball team by a count of 18-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Purple Panthers now possess a 6-17 record. They take the field next when they host Staunton for a South Central bout on Tuesday, May 2. Litchfield will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 11-6 non-league loss to Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-10.

Next, the Panthers face the Springfield Senators (Springfield, IL) in a Central State Eight bout, on Tuesday, May 2. Decatur Eisenhower will attempt to move on its 1-21 season record. The Senators enter the bout with a 16-4 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Washington (Washington, IL).
