The St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) baseball trounced the host Holy Trinity Tigers (Chicago, IL), 11-1 in Saturday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Bruins play the Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL) in a Three Rivers contest, on Monday, May 1. St. Bede will attempt to better on its 15-5 season record. The Storm enter the contest with a 12-7 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL).
The Tigers now sport a 15-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Latin for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 29. Holy Trinity will play a Romans squad coming off a 8-3 league win over North Shore Country Day (Winnetka, IL). The Romans record now stands at 8-1.
