In Saturday's non-league game, the host Westlake Demons baseball team scored a tight 7-3 victory over the Midview Middies.

The Demons (12-6) will now prepare for their game against Lakewood (Lakewood, OH). The Rangers go into the Great Lakes Conference game with a 8-7 record. In their last game, Lakewood tipped Buckeye (Medina, OH), 5-3, in a league game.
