Illinois High School Baseball - Oregon sneaks past Polo

Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Oregon Hawks (Oregon, IL) and the visiting Polo Marcos (Polo, IL), saw Oregon's baseball squad edge Polo by a count of 10-9.

Coming up next, the Hawks play the Rock Falls Rockets (Rock Falls, IL) in a Big Northern battle, on Monday, May 1. Oregon will attempt to move on its 10-10 season record. The Rockets enter the battle with a 8-13 record after their 10-1 league win over Lutheran (Rockford, IL).

The Marcos now possess a 3-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastland for a Northwest Upstate Illini - East battle on Tuesday, May 2.
