The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL) and the host Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL), saw Marmion's volleyball squad nip Elgin by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Marmion upgrades its record to 9-13 on the year. The Cadets travel to Streamwood (Streamwood, IL) to play the Sabres in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 29. The Sabres go into the bout with a record of 9-9. Streamwood lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL)

The Maroons now own a 7-20 record. They play next when they travel to Romeoville for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 29. Elgin will play a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 7-12.
