Illinois High School Volleyball - Joliet Catholic can't hold off St. Francis

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting St. Francis Spartans volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers.
The Spartans (22-6) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins come into the non-league battle with a 18-3 record. In their last battle, Lincoln-Way East nudged Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Hilltoppers encounter the Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 29. Joliet Catholic will attempt to advance on its 17-6 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 20-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Evanston (Evanston, IL).
