In Saturday's non-league test, the host Moon Area Tigers lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-5 victory over the Peters Township Indians.

The Tigers now have a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Ambridge for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 2. Moon Area will face a Bridgers squad coming off a 22-2 league loss to South Fayette (McDonald, PA). The Bridgers record now stands at 0-11.

In their next game, the Indians face the Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 test, on Monday, May 1. Peters Township will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 0-9 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA).
