The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Sayville Golden Flashes (Sayville, NY) and the host West Islip Lions (West Islip, NY), saw Sayville's lacrosse team gain a win over West Islip by a margin of 11-8.

The Golden Flashes (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mount Sinai (Mount Sinai, NY). The Mustangs enter the Section 11 II challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Mount Sinai edged Greenport-Southold-Mattituck (Greenport, NY), 18-3, in a league challenge.
