In Saturday's league battle, the host Longmont Trojans soccer squad scored a close 7-0 triumph over the Sterling Tigers.
The Trojans (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Wellington (Wellington, CO). The Eagles come into the 3A/2A Patriot battle with a 0-12 record. In their last battle, Wellington was overwhelmed by Nederland (Nederland, CO), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
The Tigers (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Frontier Academy (Greeley, CO). The Wolverines come into the 3A/2A Patriot battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Frontier Academy nudged Greeley West (Greeley, CO), 5-0, in a non-league battle.
