The McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) baseball the host Franklin Yellowjackets (Stockton, CA), 5-1 in Saturday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Lions play the River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA) in a contest, on Tuesday, May 2. McClatchy will attempt to better on its 12-7 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 18-6 record after their 17-2 non-league win over Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA).
