The Del Oro Golden Eagles softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host St. Francis Troubadours to 6 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Del Oro improves its record to 12-9 on the year. The Golden Eagles travel to Rocklin (Rocklin, CA) to clash with the Thunder in a game on Tuesday, May 2. The Thunder come into the game with a record of 13-4. Rocklin won 13-2 in their recent league game against Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA)

In their next game, the Troubadours clash with the Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 1. St. Francis will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Timberwolves come into the game with a 7-8 record after their 3-1 league loss to Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA).
