Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL), 9-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Titans now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rochester for a challenge on Wednesday, May 3.

With the loss, Geneseo falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Maple leafs host Riverdale (Port Byron, IL) to battle the Rams in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 5. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 10-4.
